This 1979 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT 4×4 pickup had been stored for approximately 14 years when it was purchased by the seller from a relative of the original owner in 2022. This 1979 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT 4×4 pickup had been stored for approximately 14 years when it was purchased by the seller from a relative of the original owner in 2022. The truck was refurbished under current ownership, and work is said to have included repainting the exterior, treating the underside with POR15, applying a spray-on bedliner, and replacing rear braking components along with the brake booster, master brake cylinder, wheels, tires, fuel tanks, exhaust headers, exhaust piping, and various engine seals. Power is from a 400ci V8 linked to a three-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip differential, and the truck is also equipped with Warn front hubs, a sliding rear window, cruise control, and an AM/FM stereo.
The truck was repainted red, a spray-on bedliner was applied, and the exterior light bulbs were replaced under current ownership. Equipment includes a sliding rear window, a lockable tool storage box, and chrome bumpers.
The 16″ Ultra wheels are mounted with Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP tires.
