This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was purchased by the seller as an incomplete refurbishment project in 2023, after which the build was completed. A 383ci stroker V8 crate engine was installed along with a built 200-4R and a 3.73:1 Positraction differential, and the body was refinished in blue with a black vinyl roof cover. Global West tubular front control arms and adjustable coilovers were installed along with composite rear leaf springs with adjustable shocks, and the car is equipped with power steering and power-assisted front disc brakes. Inside, the front bucket seats and rear bench have been re-trimmed in black vinyl, and Vintage Air climate control is installed along with a center console and an Alpine CD stereo unit. Additional equipment includes an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, aluminum cylinder heads, and full-length exhaust headers.
Originally LeMans blue with a black vinyl roof cover, the car was refinished during the refurbishment completed in 2023. Details include a cowl hood, front and rear spoilers, a locking gas cap, and chrome rocker moldings. Blemishes in the finish are pictured in the gallery below.
The car rides on Global West tubular control arms and Viking adjustable coilovers up front along with composite leaf springs and Ridetech adjustable shocks out back. The 15″ Rally wheels are mounted with 225/60 front and 255/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features 1969 Camaro front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl along with coordinated carpets and trim. Interior appointments include a Vintage Air climate control system, a center console with a horseshoe-style shifter, and an Alpine CD stereo linked to a Rockville six-channel amplifier, a subwoofer, and four speakers.
