This 1971 Chevrolet K10 was the subject of a multi-year refurbishment that was carried out under prior ownership with work involving replacing various metal body panels, repainting the exterior in black, and rebuilding the 350ci V8. It was acquired by the seller in 2023, and subsequent work included reupholstering the interior in Red Torchfire vinyl, changing various seals, and installing Vintage Air climate control along with an aftermarket transmission oil pan and differential covers. Shifting is through a three-speed automatic transmission linked to a dual-range transfer case, and the truck rides on 15″ Rally wheels mounted with 32″ BFGoodrich tires. Additional equipment includes a wood bed floor, a push-button digital radio, long-tube exhaust headers, an HEI distributor, and an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold.
During the aforementioned refurbishment, the hood, passenger rocker panel, bed, cab corners, fenders, wheel tubs, and windows are said to have been replaced, bedliner material was applied to the underside of the cab, and the truck was repainted black. LED headlights were installed under current ownership, and further details include a chrome grille and bumpers, dual side mirrors, and a wood bed floor with an integrated fuel filler cap and polished metal runners.
Silver-finished 15″ Rally wheels are mounted with 32×11.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires showing 2022 date codes. The truck is equipped with power steering and Warn manually locking front hubs, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The bench seat was retrimmed in Red Torchfire vinyl in January 2025, and color-matching material extends to the dash pad, headliner, sun visors, and door panels. Bedliner material was applied under the replacement black carpets, and appointments include Vintage Air climate control, a retro-style digital radio, and polished door entry sill plates.
